Weekly Post #1

Welcome to my Practicum Blog! I started the first week of my practicum by meeting with my school media specialist and by talking with my secondary and tertiary site media specialists to create a schedule. I have to be honest, when I started really digging into the procedures, expectations, and requirements for my practicum I started getting really nervous! Once I met with my site coordinator, my school media specialist, he assured me everything would be okay! It is nice to be working under him because he completed some of the program I am currently working on at Georgia Southern University. He also taught me when I attended Swainsboro High School as a student. I am looking forward to working with him and the other two media specialists who agreed to allow me to complete some of my practicum hours at their schools!
